Cairo Governor: Increase bridges and tunnels efficiency for safety

Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal asserted Saturday that the Cairo governorate is currently implementing a plan to increase the efficiency of tunnels and bridges across the capital to ensure the safety of vehicles and citizens. It also integrates with the state’s effort to construct new road axes and modern bridges to ease traffic congestion in the city.

 
In this context, the productive workshops at Cairo’s Road and Transport Directorate carried out maintenance on Yousef Abbas Tunnel in Gharb Madinet Nasr district, the Abageya Bridge in El-Khalifa district, the Malek Khaled Bridge in Monshaet Naser district, as well as maintaining and amending expansion joints of the Handusa Bridge near Mohammad Ali Palace.
