The Meteorological Authority announced the weather conditions today, Monday, June 15, 2026, explaining that today's weather is hot and humid during the day in the north of the country up to Greater Cairo and northern Upper Egypt, very hot in southern Upper Egypt, moderate and humid at night in most parts, and tending to be hot in southern Upper Egypt.
She confirmed the presence of wind activity ranging in speed from 30 to 35 km/h in areas of Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, South Sinai and North Upper Egypt, which may cause sand and dust storms in areas of the Red Sea Governorate at intermittent intervals.
She explained that high humidity levels increase the feeling of hot weather than expected in the shade, with values ranging from 1 to 2 degrees, and meteorology indicated that there are weak chances of light rain falling, with an incidence of 20%, on areas of the northeastern coastal governorates and northern Lower Egypt at intermittent intervals.
Today's temperatures in Greater Cairo are expected to be: maximum 34 degrees, minimum 23 degrees.
