The Holding Company for Drinking Water and Sanitation launched a new awareness campaign under the title "Take Care", with the aim of providing simplified guidance messages to citizens on a number of topics related to drinking water and sanitation services, which contributes to protecting customers' rights and improving the level of service provided.
The campaign relies on providing short, direct awareness information through video clips and digital publications bearing the slogan "Take care.. A simple piece of information that makes a difference in every home, as it addresses various topics that directly affect the lives of citizens, and helps them avoid problems related to contracts, invoices, meters, rationalizing consumption, and maintaining public facilities.
Eng. Mustafa Al-Shimi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Holding Company for Drinking Water and Wastewater, stressed that the campaign comes within the framework of the company's strategy to enhance community awareness of customers' rights and duties, and to provide correct information in a simplified and easy-to-access manner to various categories of citizens, pointing out that raising awareness is one of the most important axes of improving services, preserving resources, and achieving optimal benefit from the drinking water and wastewater system.
He added that the holding company is keen to employ various media and digital means to reach citizens with effective and influential awareness messages, which contributes to supporting community partnership and enhancing direct communication with customers, stressing that every correct information reaches the citizen at the right time, helping him make the right decision, know the requirements for providing the service and avoid any problems.
The campaign begins with its first awareness message under the title "Take Care.. Before you receive the key to your new apartment, which highlights the importance of ensuring that the water meter dues for the residential unit have been paid before completing the receipt process, as it is a simple step that protects the citizen from any previous debts or financial obligations that may be related to the meter.
In this context, the Holding Company's media center published the first campaign materials via the company's digital platforms and social media sites. A series of diverse awareness messages will be sent over the coming period, addressing meter readings, bill payments, dealing with leaks, rationalizing water consumption, procedures for various contracts, and other topics of interest to citizens.
