As part of Egypt’s preparations to participate as a principal partner at WTM London, set to be launched in early November, Dr. Ahmed Youssef, CEO of the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Promotion, visited the site designated for the Egyptian pavilion at the Excel London exhibition venue. He also held meetings with the event director and the marketing director of the exhibition.

Moreover, the meeting reviewed the arrangements and preparations for the Egyptian pavilion, which has been expanded compared to last year to accommodate the increasing number of Egyptian exhibitors, now totaling 110. These exhibitors represent a range of Egyptian tourism companies and hotel establishments. The discussions also covered the installation of digital display screens and promotional materials to showcase the diversity of Egypt's tourism assets, products, and destinations. Additionally, the pavilion highlights the wide array of experiences offered by Egypt as a tourism destination.

The meeting was attended by Mohammad Mohsen, Director of the Western and Southern Europe Unit at the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Promotion.

During his visit to the United Kingdom, Dr. Ahmed Youssef also participated in the “Tourism Destination Partnerships” event organized by Jet2. The event brought together representatives of several tourism destinations from around the world, including Spain, Portugal, Türkiye, Croatia, Montenegro, and Malta.
