Cairo Governor Ibrahim Saber met with the Chairman and CEO of Banque du Caire, Tarek Fayed, to discuss ways to enhance cooperation between the Cairo governorate and the Banque du Caire in the field of community participation in development efforts across various sectors in Cairo to improve the quality of living conditions of citizens.
The meeting also addressed providing support for small enterprises, particularly those related to handicrafts, through microloans with low interest rates to help expand their activities.
During the meeting, Saber stressed the governorate’s keenness to boost cooperation with Banque du Caire, given it is one of the oldest national banks that has made numerous contributions to the development projects undertaken in the capital.
The meeting was also attended by Secretary-General Yahia Adghm and several officials of Cairo governorate.
