Cairo Governor inspects Ibn Sender Public Park after renovation

Cairo Governor Ibrahim Saber inspected Ibn Sender Public Park in the Zaiton neighborhood after completing renovation work.

During his tour, Saber directed officials to increase plants in the park, considering it is an essential recreational area for the residents.

Saber also said that the governorate seeks to increase green spaces, improve air quality, mitigate the risks of global warming and climate change, enhance the per capita share of green areas, and improve the quality of life for citizens, considering this as one of the top priorities that the Egyptian state focuses on in addressing climate change and environmental protection.

The governor was accompanied by Deputy Cairo Governor Hossam El-Din Fawzy, Secretary-General Yahia Adghm, several officials of the Cairo governorate, and members of Egypt’s House of Representatives and Senate.

For his part, Chairman of the Specialized Parks Department Mohammad Sultan said renovation work of the park included building a fence and installing curbstones and interlocking tiles in a large part of the park. Additionally, the renovation included installing a luminous fountain and pergolas.
