Cairo Governor Dr. Ibrahim Saber conducted a surprise inspection tour of Helwan district to follow up on ongoing efforts to remove encroachments near the Helwan Metro station and streets leading to it to facilitate pedestrian movement and remove all violations on Public roadways in response to citizens' complaints.
During his tour, Saber urged officials to prevent the return of encroachments in the area, restore order to the streets, and intensify daily inspection campaigns in coordination with the executive bodies of the Helwan district and the public utilities police. He also directed to improve the overall appearance of the streets surrounding Helwan Metro Station.
Moreover, Saber ordered the continuation of daily inspection campaigns to enforce order in the capital’s districts to ease traffic flow and improve the quality of services provided to citizens. Saber also directed district chiefs to conduct daily field inspections to listen and respond to citizens’ demands by law.
The governor was accompanied by Deputy Cairo Governor Ashraf Mansour and several officials of the Cairo governorate.
