Cairo Gov. commends role of Unified Government Complaints System

Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal commended Sunday the role of the Unified Government Complaints System, which is under the supervision of Prime Minister Dr. Mustafa Madbouli, in monitoring and receiving citizens’ complaints and requests then communicating and coordinating with relevant authorities and ministries to handle these complaints as part of the state’s efforts to improve the quality of citizens’ lives.

Abdel Aal added that the Cairo governorate has been able to address and resolve 99% of complaints submitted by Cairo citizens to the Unified Government Complaints System in the past year. Meanwhile, 60% of Cairo districts and directorates have been able to resolve 100% of the complaints.

Moreover, Abdel Aal said that the governorate seeks to enhance the e-services provided to citizens, especially receiving and responding to their complaints in the framework of the national project adopted by the state to establish centers to improve the quality of services and deliver them quickly and up-to-date with the latest technology. It will also make it easy for citizens to access e-services and contribute to implementing the state strategy to confront corruption.
