Cairo Governor Dr. Ibrahim Saber attended the inauguration ceremony of the “Back to School” Exhibition led by Minister of Supply and Internal Trade Dr. Sherif Farouq and Head of the Technical Secretariat for National Alliance for Civil Development Work Ambassador Nabila Makram and organized by the Ministry of Supply “the Holding Company for Food Industries” in cooperation with National Alliance for Civil Development Work in the Sawah neighborhood.
During the inauguration, Saber said the exhibition comes in line with the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to provide food supplies, tools, and school supplies to citizens in all governorates at affordable prices and alleviate the burdens on citizens ahead of the new academic year and to meet students' needs at affordable prices.
Saber also pointed out that the Cairo governorate supports exhibitions offering goods to citizens at affordable prices. He also asserted the governorate’s keenness to provide land plots for holding such exhibitions across all districts in the capital.
The exhibition is held on 1000 m2, offering 572 products, including essential goods (sugar, oil, meat, poultry, vegetables, packed juices, cheese, baked goods, fish, cleaning products, and stationery), with up to 30% discount.
The governor was accompanied by Deputy Cairo Governor Dr. Hossam El-Din Fawzy and several officials of Cairo governorate and the Ministry of Supply.
