Cairo gov. distributes wheelchairs to people of determination

Cairo Governor Ibrahim Saber distributed electric wheelchairs to 11 people of determination in cooperation with one of the Egyptian NGOs. This comes as part of the state's efforts to empower differently-abled individuals and improve provided services.

Saber asserted the state, under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, attaches great importance to differently-abled individuals and people of determination. He also emphasized the president’s continuous directives to meet their needs, providing full support, integrating them into society, and involving them in all activities and fields, recognizing their vital role in all aspects of life and the significance of their inclusion in the community.

Saber added that the executive bodies of the Cairo governorate fully support the activities of People with disabilities to showcase their skills, abilities, and talents across all sectors, meet all their needs and requirements, and overcome any obstacles that hinder them from practicing their activities without any problems.

Moreover, Saber praised the role of NGOs in collaboration with executive bodies in implementing development plans in Cairo. He also hailed their contribution to achieving social solidarity and providing essential services and necessary care across various fields.

The ceremony was attended by Secretary-General Yahia Adgham, Assistant Secretary-General Hossam Labib, Director of Social Solidarity Directorate Ahmad Ebeid, Head of the Regional Union of NGOs Ezz Farghal, and several officials of the Cairo governorate.
