Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal received Wednesday the Managing Director of TotalEnergies Marketing Egypt Thomas Strauss, the Director of the Partnership between TotalEnergies-Egypt and Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), and their accompanying delegation.
During his meeting, Abdel Aal pointed out the Egyptian state’s great effort under President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to support investors and attract more investment opportunities, given that Egypt is one of the most investment-attractive countries. He also added that the Cairo governorate provides all facilities to investors to increase investments in the capital.
For his part, Managing Director of TotalEnergies-Egypt Thomas Strauss asserted that Egypt is a promising investment destination, noting that the company has succeeded in attracting investments of Abu Dhabi ADNOC Holding Company to Egypt after it acquired 50% of stakes in TotalEnergies Egypt by an investment of $600 million as many services of the company and Total/ADNOC stations would be upgraded across Egypt starting from Cairo during the first phase.
Moreover, the delegation of the company thanked the governor for the support and cooperation provided by the Cairo governorate to the company that has been working and investing in Egypt for 25 years.
