Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal inspected Wednesday the activities of the presidential initiative 100 Healthy Days launched under the theme “With you from First Day” in the Khaila area, one of the alternative housing projects built by the state, to follow up on the medical services provided to the area’s residents.
During his tour, Abdel Aal said that the 100 Healthy Days Campaign comes as part of the presidential initiatives launched under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to support citizens’ health and upgrade health services provided to them, asserting that the healthcare sector in Egypt has witnessed unprecedented boom under President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi as he sought to improve the quality of citizens’ living conditions and build Egyptian human to achieve Egypt vision 2030.
Abdel Aal also pointed out the great effort exerted by the Egyptian political leadership to provide citizens with all services through launching several presidential initiatives aiming to improve the quality of citizen services and meet their needs and requirements.
Moreover, Abdel Aal said that eradicating informal settlements is one of the most significant projects reflecting the state’s interest in improving citizens’ living conditions and providing them with decent life and healthy environment, contributing to creating a physically and mentally resilient generation.
Abdel Aal visited the family planning, pediatric, and surgery mobile clinics. He also followed up on the availability of all necessary medical supplies and the presence of medical teams, adding that the initiative offers all medications and health services for free.
Abdel Aal also met some citizens during his tour and asked them about the quality of the provided services, and they expressed their satisfaction with the services.
Furthermore, Abdel Aal urged district chiefs to provide full support to the medical teams and to constantly follow up on the initiative’s activities to announce the locations of the mobile clinics to reach the largest number of citizens.
The 100 Healthy Days initiative offers various medical services, including early detection of breast cancer and chronic diseases, measuring blood pressure, and random blood sugar tests. It also aims to raise awareness about the importance of self-examination for women, reasons for infections, and risk factors of communicable diseases.
