Cairo Gov. witnesses Egypt-China Friendship Association celebration

Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal witnessed Tuesday the celebration held by the Egypt-China Friendship Association to mark the 65th anniversary of the association’s establishment in the Abdeen Palace.

The celebration was attended by a host of senior officials, including Minister of Civil Aviation Mohammad Abbas Helmy, Minister of Local Development Hisham Amna, Former Prime Minister Essam Sharf, president of the Egypt-China Friendship Association Ambassador Ahmad Wali, President of Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries Ambassador Yang Wanming, Chinese Ambassador to Egypt Liao Liqiang, Head of the Shaanxi province’s delegation Li Ming yuan along with several ministers, former ambassadors, members of the diplomatic corps in Cairo.

Abdel Aal said that today’s celebration is a clear example of the remarkable development of Egyptian-Chinese relations in all fields since the beginning of the diplomatic relations between the two countries.  

 Moreover, Abdel Aal asserted that Egyptian-Chinese relations have witnessed prosperity and fruitful cooperation, given the long historical friendship between the two ancient civilizations.

Abdel Aal added that the relations and partnership extend to all fields, such as economy and trade, pointing out that political leadership efforts to coordinate between Egyptian and Chinese economic entities create an environment for development and growth, achieving the interests of the two countries  and in line with Egypt’s vision 2030.
