Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal held a meeting Wednesday with the executives of the Cairo governorate to discuss the necessary measures to overcome the obstacles facing the development plan and legalization process of the Shaq El-Thoaban area.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Cairo Governor for south area Eng. Jihan Abdel Moneim, Chairman of Shaq El-Thoaban Investors Association Eng. Sayed Abaza, Director of Housing and Utility Directorate Wael Hasan, and Head of the Executive Body of Shaq El-Thoaban area Maged Fawzy.
During the meeting, Abdel Aal urged the investors to pay state dues, complete the legalization process, and take legal actions against violators.
Shaq El-Thoaban area is located east of Autostrad Road and consists of three parts: Kotseka, Badr El-Lethy, and Shaq El-Thoaban on an area of 1608 acres. Shaq El-Thoaban houses 2525 workshops for manufacturing and exporting marble.
