In the presence of Minister of Communication and Information Technology Dr. Amr Talaat, Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal and Chairperson of Egypt Post signed a cooperation protocol whereby Egypt Post disburses Cairo Governorate compensations to citizens affected by the implementation of several national projects across Cairo.
Dr. Talaat hailed the cooperation between the Ministry of Communication and the Cairo governorate to implement several development projects, pointing out that Cairo governorate is the first to apply this new system which would facilitate citizens' access to financial services anywhere.
For his part, Cairo Governor asserted that this protocol comes within the framework of the state's commitment to improve services provided to citizens and adopt all modern systems for their development and in line with the political leadership's directives to implement digital transformation and financial inclusion.
Abdel Aal added that Egypt Post would disburse financial dues transferred from the Cairo governorate through the e-payment system of the Ministry of Finance.
