Cairo Governorate bars unvaccinated employees from entering starting today

Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal followed up Monday morning implementation of the Prime Minister's decision to prevent unvaccinated employees from entering the workplace starting November 15 unless they present a negative PCR test. It also bans citizens from entering any government facility, except after receiving the anti-covid-19 vaccine starting next month.

Abdel Aal said that the state provided different kinds of vaccines for free and launched mobile vaccination units to ensure that all citizens would be vaccinated.

Moreover, Abdel Aal stressed that no employee would be allowed to enter the workplace or affiliated facility unless they are vaccinated against Covid-19, adding that there is a vaccination unit at the Cairo governorate building to inoculate employees who have not received the vaccine.
