Cairo Governor: Ghernata Park historic fountain restored

Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal announced Saturday that Cairo’s Cleaning and Beautification Authority finished repairing and operating the historic water fountain at the Ghernata Park in the Misr El-Gadidah area.

Abdel Aal inaugurated last month Ghernata Park after its renovation that included installing fences, installing pergolas and benches around the trees, painting curbstones, and upgrading the lighting at the park.

At that time, Abdel Aal directed the authority to repair and operate the historic fountain and pointed out that the governorate seeks to increase green spaces and parks in the Capital.
