Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal met Wednesday UAE Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the Arab League Dr. Hamad Saeed El-Shamsy in his first visit to Cairo governorate since assuming his duties as an ambassador of UAE.
During the meeting, Abdel Aal discussed means of cooperation between the two countries with Dr. Hamad and reviewed the ongoing development projects in the Capital, pointing out that these projects increased investment opportunities and contributed to the development of the private sector as Egypt now has improved its investment climate thanks to the infrastructure built by President El-Sisi and it also contributed to the national projects implemented to maximize the state's resources and encourage investment.
For his part, Dr. Hamad El-Shamsy expressed his pleasure to be in Cairo, assuring that the relations between Egypt and UAE are strategic and historical and based on trust and understanding, stressing the pivotal role played by Emirati Egyptian diplomacy in the region. He also praised the ongoing development in all fields across Egypt.
