Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal urged citizens to comply with the precautionary and preventive measures taken by the state against COVID-19, stressing that it only requires to wear face masks, practice social distancing, wash hands, and disinfect to avoid the infection.
The governor also asserted that citizens' cooperation and commitment are necessary for the success of the precautionary measures taken by the state, assuring that citizens' health is a top priority.
This came during the meeting held by the Cairo governorate to follow up on the precautionary measures taken to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus.
Moreover, Abdel Aal urged all schools' directors to take strictly all the precautionary measures to protect students and stressed the necessity of raising awareness about COVID-19 among students and teachers. He also directed schools' directors to inspect schools daily and continuously to ensure the availability of medical supplies and medical staff.
