Cairo Governor Dr. Ibrahim Saber confirmed that the necessary measures have been taken to begin maintenance and upgrading works on El-Fangary Bridge toward Hadayek El-Qobba, including reviewing structural safety measures and removing the advertising billboards on top of the bridge, in coordination with the Cairo Governorate’s Roads and Bridges Directorate and Arab Contractors Company.
The Cairo Governor stressed the need to complete the bridge’s maintenance, upgrading, and lighting works as quickly as possible to facilitate traffic, particularly as the bridge is used daily by a large number of citizens and vehicles.
The works include maintaining the bridge’s barriers and expansion joints, as well as carrying out the necessary works to upgrade its structural elements, helping improve safety and protect its users.
