Dr. Ibrahim Saber, Governor of Cairo, confirmed the completion of tree-planting works at Al-Amal Square Park, located on the island between Gardinia and Al-Amal City in the East Nasr City district. The project is part of the Governorate’s efforts to expand green spaces and enhance the urban and aesthetic appearance of streets and squares, contributing to a healthier environment for residents and improving the quality of services provided to them.
The Cairo Governor noted that the tree-planting works are part of the Governorate’s efforts to implement President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s “Greening Cairo” initiative, which aims to expand green spaces across the capital, maximize the use of available and underutilized areas, and transform them into green spaces that contribute to improving residents’ quality of life.
