High School exam marking completed as final results preparation begins

A responsible source at the Ministry of Education revealed that the grading of the 2026 General Secondary Education (Thanaweya Amma) exams has been completed, including both subjects excluded from the total score and those counted toward the total score.

The source said in statements that the results have entered the final review stage, which includes matching students’ data with their grades and adding compassion marks (bonus marks) for eligible students according to the applicable regulations.

The source explained that this stage of the results process requires at least 48 hours to verify the data and grades, with results withheld for students involved in cheating cases who have had official reports filed against them. The process also includes preparing the list of top-performing students in each division, as well as top students among integrated education and visually impaired students.

After that, the results will be ready for approval by the Minister of Education.
