Paper-based applications for kindergarten and primary school begin on September 1st for those who missed the online registration.

September 1.. Paper applications open for missed kindergarten, first-grade registration

The Central Administration for General Education at the Ministry of Education and Technical Education, headed by Dr. Hala Abdel Salam, Head of the Administration and Supervisor of Subject Advisors, has issued an official letter to all educational directorates nationwide outlining an urgent solution for students who were unable to complete the electronic registration process for admission to kindergarten and first grade of primary school at official and official language schools for the new academic year.

The letter states that these students will be allowed to submit their documents in person through the educational directorates, starting September 1.

The letter explained that this decision follows the circular issued on May 7 regarding the procedures for admission to first grade of basic education at official schools and electronic applications for kindergarten through the Ministry’s electronic services portal. The Central Administration also instructed educational directorates to strictly adhere to the following procedures and deadlines:

First: Officials responsible for school admission coordination in each directorate must complete all procedures related to students who have already applied electronically no later than August 31, 2026.

Second: Student files for those who did not register on the Ministry’s electronic platform will be accepted and reviewed for paper-based admission through the educational directorates starting September 1, 2026.
