This message appeared in an awareness publication released by the Ministry on its official social media pages under the slogan: “Rest assured… there is no risk of infection transmission during blood donation.” The publication is part of ongoing efforts to promote a culture of blood donation and encourage citizens to help support blood bank reserves and save the lives of patients and the injured.

Single-use donation tools are used for each donor individually and are disposed of safely and immediately after the donation process, thereby completely eliminating any possibility of infection or disease transmission among donors.
