The Ministry of Interior announced the extension of the 28th phase of the “Kolena Wahed” initiative for one month starting October 1, providing food and non-food commodities at discounts of up to 40%, through commercial and industrial companies across the country.
This comes in line with the political leadership’s directives to take all necessary measures to support the social protection system for citizens, under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and in coordination with various Ministry sectors and security directorates nationwide. Participating outlets and promotional tents are listed on the Ministry of Interior’s official website.
The Ministry coordinated with industrial and commercial entities and major retail chains, including 2,558 commercial chains, 5 mobile convoys, and 4 promotional tents, bringing the total number of participating branches, chains, and outlets to 2,567 nationwide.
The Ministry also continues to provide food and non-food commodities at reduced prices through 1,400 fixed and mobile outlets in major squares and streets, as well as vehicle convoys operated by the Ministry’s “Aman” system.
This initiative is part of the Ministry of Interior’s ongoing efforts to ease the financial burden on citizens and fulfill its social responsibility by contributing to the provision of various forms of humanitarian and social support.
