The Ministry of Education has issued a circular to all education directorates announcing an extension of the application period for Kindergarten (Public and Official Language Schools) through the ministry's official website until July 15, while applications for Grade 1 of public primary schools have been extended until July 31.
According to the circular, and with reference to the ministry's previous directive regarding admission procedures for Kindergarten (Public and Official Language Schools) and Grade 1 of the primary stage for the 2026/2027 academic year, it has been decided to extend the application period for Kindergarten until July 15, 2026, and for Grade 1 until July 31, 2026.
The ministry explained that the extension is intended to give a greater number of children the opportunity to enroll in these educational stages and ease the burden on parents. It also emphasized that applications must be submitted through the ministry's official website.
