Health Minister, Samsung Egypt explore cooperation on medical training, digital transformation

Minister of Health and Population Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar held a meeting with Byung-Moo Shin, President of Samsung Electronics Egypt, to discuss aspects of cooperation in developing the healthcare system. The meeting is part of the ministry's commitment to expanding partnerships with the private sector and leveraging global expertise and advanced technology.

Abdel Ghaffar emphasized the ministry's commitment to fostering cooperation with international companies to support efforts in developing the healthcare system, enhancing training programs and continuous medical education, and leveraging technological solutions to improve the work environment and the quality of services provided to citizens.

Official spokesperson of the ministry, Dr. Hossam Abdel, stated that the meeting discussed strengthening the training infrastructure at the Princess Fatma Center for Professional Medical Education by equipping an advanced training hall and developing the ministry's crisis room. These efforts aim to create a modern training environment that helps qualify and enhance the skills of medical teams in accordance with the latest international standards.

The meeting also reviewed several proposals for future cooperation and explored opportunities to leverage Samsung’s expertise in technology and digital transformation to support the ministry's plans to improve the work system, enhance the quality of healthcare services, and achieve sustainability in development and training programs.
