EMA: Extreme heat, humidity expected by day, high of 36°C in Cairo

Meteorologists at the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predict that extremely hot and humid weather will prevail during daytime hours across most parts of the country, while the northern coasts will experience hot and humid conditions. At night, the weather will be warm and humid over most areas.

Regarding weather conditions, morning fog is expected to develop on some roads connecting northern Egypt with Greater Cairo, the Canal cities, central Sinai, and northern Upper Egypt. It may become dense in some areas. Winds will be active at times in most regions, occasionally raising sand and dust in parts of the Red Sea Governorate and southern Upper Egypt.

Regarding the Mediterranean Sea, conditions will be moderate, with wave heights ranging from 1.5 to 2 meters and northwesterly winds. The Red Sea will experience moderate to rough conditions, with wave heights between 2 and 2.5 meters and northwesterly winds. The Gulf of Suez will also be moderate to rough, with wave heights ranging from 2 to 3 meters and northwesterly winds.

Meteorologists predict that Cairo will see highs of 36°C and lows of 25°C.
