Tourism Ministry offers beginner-level German, English courses

As part of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities' plan to develop the skills and competencies of personnel in the tourism and antiquities sectors, as well as enhancing their performance to meet labor market demands, the EgyTAP Tourism and Antiquities Training Platform is offering two free, recorded beginner-level courses in German and English languages.

The available courses include a beginner-level German language course delivered by Dr. Islam Alaa El-Din, a German language instructor with more than 21 years of experience in German language teaching and training.

The platform is also offering a Fundamentals English Language Course, offered in partnership with Vivo as part of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and the company last month.

Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Sherif Fathy said that these courses align with the ministry's ongoing efforts to offer specialized training programs that help develop the skills and competencies of employees in the tourism and antiquities sectors. He added that these efforts contribute to improving visitor services and developing human capital, which remains one of the key pillars for upgrading the sector.

Meanwhile, Dr. Mohamed Shaaban, Assistant Minister of Tourism and Antiquities for Digital Services and General Supervisor of the EgyTAP Training Platform, stated that enrollment for both courses is currently available free of charge to all employees in the tourism and antiquities sectors through the platform's recorded training system. This system allows participants to access the training content at a time and place most convenient for them, thereby maximizing the value of the training opportunities offered through the platform.

those interested in enrolling in these training courses can register through the EgyTAP Tourism and Antiquities Training Platform.
