EMA: Hot, Humid weather by day, mild at night, with Cairo’s high of 35°C

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts moderately warm and humid weather in the early morning, becoming hot and humid during the day across the northern regions up to Greater Cairo. In Upper Egypt, conditions will be extremely hot. At night, most areas will experience moderately warm and humid weather, tending toward hot in southern Upper Egypt.

The EMA explained that the increase in humidity levels raises the perceived temperature in the shade by 1 to 2 degrees.

A morning fog is expected to form between 4:00 and 8:00 a.m. over areas including the northern regions, Greater Cairo, the Canal cities, central Sinai, and northern Upper Egypt. At times, the fog may become dense, causing reduced horizontal visibility on some roads.
Occasional wind activity is expected, with speeds ranging from 30 to 40 km/h across most areas at intermittent intervals.

There is a slight chance of low clouds forming over scattered areas of the northern coasts, the Nile Delta, Greater Cairo, and the Canal cities. These clouds may produce light drizzle, which will have an insignificant effect on some areas.

Meteorologists predict that Cairo will see highs of 35°C and lows of 24°C.
