Final-year secondary students take Physics, History exams, surveillance cameras operate nationwide

The central operations room at the Ministry of Education began coordinating with all final-year secondary exam halls across the country and activated the surveillance cameras in the exam rooms, most of which were already equipped with them.

Minister of Education Mohammad Abdel Latif, along with Khaled Abdel Hakim, Head of Secondary School Graduation Exams, and other officials, is overseeing the distribution of Physics and History exam papers starting at 9:00 a.m. Meanwhile, the operations room monitors all activities inside the committees through surveillance cameras.

The central operations room at the Ministry of Education instructed the heads of secondary school graduation exam halls not to open the envelopes containing the Physics and History exam papers, which students are taking today, before 9:00 a.m. This must be done in front of the students and in the presence of the invigilators to ensure complete confidentiality. Under no circumstances is any delay permitted in distributing the papers.

The secondary school graduation exam halls opened their doors to students at 8:30 a.m. today and began inspecting them through administrative security staff present at the committees, to detect electronic cheating tools that could be used to photograph and circulate parts of the exam questions.

Students were screened using an electronic wand passed over their bodies to detect any cheating devices. They were allowed to remain in the school courtyard until 8:50 a.m., after which they entered the examination halls.
