Cairo Governor Dr. Ibrahim Saber attended an employment forum held in the Hadayek El-Kobba district. It featured the participation of 30 companies and institutions from different sectors, offering over 4,000 job vacancies. The forum is part of the governorate’s efforts to support the state’s plans to cut unemployment, provide decent jobs for young people, and bolster cooperation with the private sector and civil society.
The event was also attended by Deputy Cairo Governor Omar El-Shafaei Al-Akrat, MP Said Reda El-Wasimi, and several officials from the Cairo Governorate.
Governor Saber stated that the governorate places great importance on youth employment. It is also committed to cooperating with all relevant entities to organize job forums that provide genuine opportunities for citizens and connect youth with labor market needs. This effort aligns with development goals and the objective of ensuring a decent life for all citizens.
Moreover, Saber said the forum provides about 4,000 job openings across various companies and institutions in administrative, technical, and community roles. It targets applicants aged 21 to 50, welcoming candidates with a wide range of qualifications and experience to join the labor market.
Saber further stated that the Cairo Governorate continues to support initiatives aimed at economically empowering youth and encouraging the private sector to contribute to employment opportunities, in line with the political leadership’s directives to develop human capital and improve the quality of life.
