Experts from the General Authority of Meteorology expected that today, hot weather will prevail in the north of the country up to Greater Cairo, and very hot in the south of the country during the daytime hours, while it will be moderate at night in most parts and hot in southern Upper Egypt.
The authority stated that the country will witness water mist during the morning hours on some roads leading to and from the northern regions of the country to Greater Cairo, the Canal cities, central Sinai and northern Upper Egypt. It may be dense at times on some roads, and winds will be active in most parts of the republic, and may stir up sand and dust in areas of South Sinai and the Red Sea Governorate at intermittent intervals.
Today's temperatures in Greater Cairo are expected to be 35 degrees, and the minimum is 22 degrees.
