Cairo Governor Dr. Ibrahim Saber paid a visit to the Egyptian Chinese University to discuss avenues of cooperation between the governorate and the university. It also aims to harness the university's scientific and technological resources and academic expertise in supporting development efforts in the capital.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Karima Abdel Karim, founder and chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the Egyptian Chinese University, and Dr. Rasha El‑Khuli, president of the university, along with several faculty deans and members of the teaching staff.
Furthermore, Governor Saber stressed the vital role of universities in supporting the plans of the state and the governorate and in linking education and scientific research to the needs of society. He added that the governorate is committed to expanding aspects of cooperation with educational institutions and universities in a way that contributes to developing skilled professionals to advance Cairo’s growth and modernization.
Moreover, the meeting addressed several proposals and avenues of cooperation in the coming period, leveraging shared expertise and capacities between the governorate and the university.
