Egypt braces for cooler weather, potential dust storms

Egypt is set to see temperatures drop by around six degrees from Tuesday, bringing relief after several days of heat and dust storms, the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) has said.

Intermittent winds are expected on Tuesday across Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the Canal cities, and the Red Sea governorate, with the potential to stir up sand and dust. There is also a slight chance of light rain in scattered areas of Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, northern Upper Egypt, the Canal cities, and Sinai.

From Tuesday through Sunday, temperatures in Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt are forecast to reach 24 degrees during the day and drop to 11 degrees at night.
