Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli affirmed
depth of Egyptian-Algerian relations and fraternal ties that unite leadership
and peoples of the two countries. During a meeting, on the sidelines of his
participation – on behalf of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi – in the Fourth
United Nations (UN) International Conference on Financing for Development
(FfD4), the prime minister asked his Algerian counterpart Nadir Larbaoui to
convey President Sisi’s greetings to Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune emphasising
Egyptian-Algerian strength of relations and coordination across the various
fields.
Ambassador Osama Abdel Khaleq, Egypt’s Permanent Representative to the UN and ambassador Ihab Badawi, Egypt’s Ambassador to Spain took part in the meeting. During the meeting, the Prime Minister discussed ways to support and strengthen aspects of bilateral relations in various sectors, seeking to advance them to broader horizons in order to achieve more mutual interests and meet the aspirations of the peoples of both countries.
