As part of efforts to strengthen the role of Egyptian expatriates in supporting Egypt’s economy, Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty met with members of the Egyptian community in Pakistan, where he discussed several national initiatives launched for Egyptians abroad.
Abdelatty highlighted initiatives such as “Your House in Egypt,” “Your Farm in Egypt,” and “Open Your Bank Account in Egypt,” in addition to the optional insurance policy for Egyptian expatriates worldwide. These programs aim to enhance the engagement of Egyptians abroad in national development and investment opportunities.
He also reviewed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigration’s efforts to improve consular services at Egyptian diplomatic missions worldwide, emphasizing the ministry’s commitment to streamlining procedures and providing services to citizens in the shortest time possible. The minister listened to the community’s views, comments, and concerns regarding current consular services.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration, and Egyptian Expatriate Affairs traveled to Islamabad on Saturday, November 29, announced the ministry in a statement.
During his visit, he is scheduled to hold a series of bilateral meetings with senior Pakistani officials and representatives of major Pakistani companies to explore ways to enhance bilateral relations and exchange views on key regional and international developments.
