PM says no return to load shedding next summer in Egypt

Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouli announced that the government has a plan to avoid implementing electricity load shedding during the upcoming summer.

In a press conference following the Cabinet meeting, Madbouli emphasized that while this decision carries significant financial burdens for the state, there will be no reduction in power supply.

The prime minister stated that the government is actively working to meet the necessary demands for electricity.

He reassured citizens that efforts are underway to ensure a stable power supply throughout the summer months.

In September of last year, the government concluded its year-long load shedding program across Egypt after a $1.18 billion allocation to purchase fuel products necessary for energy supply.
