As part of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ plan for digital transformation and technological infrastructure development, Dr. Badr Abdelatty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration, and Egyptian Expatriates’ Affairs, held a meeting to review progress on the project to digitize and modernize the Ministry’s historical documents and records system.
The project aims to establish a comprehensive electronic database and ensure the preservation of documents with the highest standards of efficiency and security, according to a statement from the Foreign Ministry.
The meeting discussed the latest developments related to the project, including the ongoing upgrade of the electronic archiving system.
Minister Abdelatty emphasized the importance of adhering to the highest security and confidentiality standards to safeguard official documents. He noted that the digitization project is fully aligned with the state’s strategy to advance digital transformation, adding that it will significantly enhance the Ministry’s institutional performance and ensure the modern, secure, and efficient preservation of diplomatic records.
