Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport Kamel El-Wazir affirmed that the ministry welcomes any serious and constructive cooperation with global and German companies.

Minister of Industry and Transport affirmed the strength of relations between Egypt and Germany in various economic fields, particularly in the industrial and transport sectors.

Kamel El-Wazir praised the quality of German industry, which serves as a model for advanced manufacturing that Egypt is keen to transfer to its local industries and benefit from.

The Minister explained that the German company Leoni, specializing in the manufacture of electrical wiring harnesses for vehicles, signed a contract a year ago to establish a factory in the Roubeki Leather City.

Kamel El-Wazir added that the factory has been completed and will be inaugurated within days, reflecting the confidence of German investors in the Egyptian economy. This factory is Leoni's second factory in Egypt.
