Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdel Ghaffar signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with his Saudi counterpart, Fahad Abdurrahman Al Jalajel, to deepen bilateral cooperation in various vital health sectors.
The MoU was signed during Abdel Ghaffar's current visit to Saudi Arabia, according to a statement by the Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population.
The cooperation areas will include exchanging health-related expertise, mutual visits between experts and specialists, and organizing conferences, seminars, and workshops.
According to the statement, a working group of experts from both countries will be formed to implement the MoU's provisions and prepare an execution plan. Additionally, subcommittees and specialized teams will be established as needed.
