Egypt, Nigeria sign MoU to enhance civil aviation

At the Nigerian Ministry of Civil Aviation, Badr Abdelatty, Egypt’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigration, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Festus Keyamo, Nigeria’s Minister of Civil Aviation and Space Development, to enhance cooperation in civil aviation between the two countries.

The agreement aims to develop air and ground services and establish a regulatory framework to strengthen collaboration between the civil aviation authorities of Egypt and Nigeria.

Abdelatty departed on Monday morning for the Nigerian capital, Abuja, at the start of a tour that takes him to five West African countries, namely Nigeria, Burkina Faso, Niger, Mali, and Senegal.

This tour comes within the framework of strengthening bilateral relations with brotherly African nations and intensifying consultations and coordination on regional and international issues of mutual interest, including regional security and counterterrorism efforts in the Sahel and West Africa.
