Ambassador to Tashkent Tamer Hammad expressed Egypt's interest in bolstering trade exchange and economic cooperation with Uzbekistan, and in establishing partnerships in the sectors of pharmaceuticals, chemical industries, textiles, constructions, and food industries.
Hammad's statements came during his meeting with Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to submit his letter of credence, as he also stressed the importance of boosting the flow of tourists between both states, as well as reinforcing parliamentary, cultural, educational and research collaboration.
