The Central Bank of Egypt has mandated a two-day suspension of operations for all banks in the country on Sunday, April 20th, and Monday, April 21st, 2025, in observance of Coptic Orthodox Easter and Sham El-Nessim feast.
According to a statement issued by the bank, services will resume on the morning of Tuesday, April 22nd, 2025.
