Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly affirmed the state’s commitment to strengthening the social protection system, expanding services for beneficiaries and tightening subsidy mechanisms to ensure support reaches those entitled to it.
Chairing a meeting of the ministerial committee for social justice on Sunday, the prime minister stressed the government’s focus on low-income groups through the provision of a range of social protection programs aimed at ensuring a decent standard of living. The meeting also underscored the importance of support programs for middle-income segments to help ease the burdens caused by successive crises in recent years.
Madbouly underscored the state’s prioritization of the subsidy system as a vital file that directly affects citizens’ lives. He stressed the government’s efforts to bolster social justice through coordinated efforts among state bodies, enhanced efficiency in public spending, and careful consideration of the various economic and social dimensions.
