Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production, General Abdel Maguid Sakr, attended the graduation ceremony of Egyptian military diplomatic representation abroad course.
This course reflects the Armed Forces General Command’s keenness to prepare and qualify officers, who have been selected to serve in Egyptian Military Diplomatic Representation Offices worldwide.
The graduation ceremony was attended by Chief-of-Staff of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, commanders of the main branches, senior Armed Forces officers, government ministers, public figures, and representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The event featured a presentation of activities implemented during the course, aimed at enhancing the officers’ diplomatic skills.
A documentary film was also screened, highlighting the various stages of the training for the participants who will represent the Armed Forces as ambassadors in brotherly and friendly countries.
Head of the Military Intelligence Authority, Major-General Staff Sherif Fekri, delivered a speech expressing gratitude to the Armed Forces General Command for its unwavering support in training military representatives through advanced scientific methods.
He also emphasized that these courses contribute to enhancing diplomats’ understanding of global developments and refining their abilities, enabling them to perform their duties effectively.
In his address, General Sakr conveyed the greetings of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, to the attendees and congratulated the graduates on completing their course.
He further emphasized the strong relationships between the Egyptian Armed Forces and their counterparts in brotherly and friendly countries. He also urged the participants to exert continuous efforts to foster military co-operation, reinforcing Egypt’s pivotal role at regional and international levels.
