The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) expects that the weather will be moderate during the day in most parts, warm in South Sinai and southern Upper Egypt, while it will be very cold at night and early in the morning in most parts, reaching the point of frost on crops in central Sinai.
The Authority further indicated that morning fog is expected, sometimes dense, on some agricultural and express roads and those close to water bodies leading to and from Greater Cairo, the North Coast, the Canal cities and northern Upper Egypt.
Chances of moderate rain are expected, according to EMA, which may be thundery and heavy, accompanied by hail sometimes in Matrouh Governorate.
The Meteorological Authority stated that temperatures in Greater Cairo to record highs of 22 degrees and lows of 12 degrees.
