According to the weather forecast map, temperatures are expected to rise in Cairo to 38°C by next Saturday, and to 44°C in southern Upper Egypt.
Active winds are expected today across most parts of the country, potentially causing sand and dust storms in open areas.
Cairo records lows of 19°C, and highs of 31°C.
