The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) expects hot weather during the day across most parts of the country, with extremely hot weather in South Sinai and southern Upper Egypt, and moderate weather at night across most parts.
The weather forecast map issued by the Egyptian Meteorological Authority reveals that the country will experience a rise in temperatures starting next Friday, with a severe heat wave sweeping across most parts of the country.
According to the weather forecast map, temperatures are expected to rise in Cairo to 38°C by next Saturday, and to 44°C in southern Upper Egypt.
Active winds are expected today across most parts of the country, potentially causing sand and dust storms in open areas.
Cairo records lows of 19°C, and highs of 31°C.
