EMA forecasts hot daytime weather, cool evenings

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) forecasts a slight rise in temperatures across most parts of the country, with autumn conditions continuing to prevail.

Cool weather is expected in the early morning, turning hot during the day in most areas and very hot in southern Upper Egypt. Temperatures will become moderate by early evening and cool later at night.

Cloud cover is expected from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on some roads leading to and from Greater Cairo and northern Upper Egypt, with mist likely to prevail over parts of the northern coast, Lower Egypt, the Canal cities, and central Sinai.

Low clouds may also appear over northern regions, including Greater Cairo, potentially bringing light, insignificant drizzle in isolated areas.

Intermittent active winds are expected in parts of Greater Cairo, helping to moderate temperatures, particularly in shaded and nighttime hours.

The EMA announced the expected temperatures for Wednesday as follows: Cairo: 33°C (highs) / 19°C (lows).
