El-Mansi said that opening markets for various Egyptian products aims to support the Egyptian economy and ensure the smooth flow of Egyptian agricultural exports to various countries around the world.
He explained that the Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture (MAPA) had provided the CAPQ with the import requirements, which were studied and approved by the Agricultural Quarantine Authority. Egypt's exports to Brazil saw an increase in 2023 to a record value of $674.4 million in the period between January to October 2024, compared to $408.2 million over the same period in 2023.
